Electoral Commission statement on non-eligible EU citizen voters

The (UK) Electoral Commission admitted on the 2 June 2016 that it had wrongly sent postal ballots and polling cards for the 23 June 2016 EU referendum to some EU nationals because of a 'systems issue'.
