Eionet (European Environment Agency and European Environment Information and Observation Network) is a partnership network of the European Environment Agency itself, a number of European Topic Centres (ETCs) and a network of around 900 experts from 37 countries in over 300 national environment agencies dealing with environmental information. It aims to provide information and expertise for assessing the state of the environment in Europe and the pressures acting upon it. This brochure describes the structure, working methods, outputs and future activities of Eionet. |
