EEA unveils preliminary EU inventory of greenhouse gas emissions

The European Environment Agency (EEA) annually compiles the European Community greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory report, which is formally submitted by the European Commission to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The provisional figures compiled by the Agency for 2006 were submitted to the UNFCCC on 15 April 2008.
