Economic growth remains weak

Official figures released by the (UK) Office for National Statistics on 21 October 2005 reveal the UK economy is on target for its weakest performance in 13 years. The country's economy grew by 0.4% in the third quarter of 2005, which was weaker than the 0.5% growth in the previous quarter.
