ECDC launches maps on the distribution of tick species in Europe

The maps on the distribution of tick species, launched by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (EMCDDA) in May 2012, cover four tick species: Dermacentor reticulates, Hyalomma marginatum, Ixodes persulcatus and Ixodes ricinus.

Similar maps are available for exotic mosquitoes and phlebotomines (sandflies).
