Draghi says he needs to explain plan

To ease worries among some of his biggest critics, European Central Bank President Mario Draghi made the unusual offer on the 14 September 2012 to defend his proposals on a bond-buying euro debt plan to Germany's parliament. Many Germans were said to distrust Mr Draghi.

Subsequently, Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank spoke to the German Bundestag on the 24 October 2012.
