A Bluetongue Protection Zone covers the whole of Wales from 1 September 2008. Farmers were urged to vaccinate their animals as soon as they could. Farmers were also asked to think carefully about sourcing stock, but definitely vaccinate in the light of new developments in the Bluetongue disease picture.
