Declaration by the High Representative on behalf of the European Union on Syria and the situation in Aleppo

On the 18 August 2016, the European Union strongly condemned the attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Aleppo and expressed its intention to fully support the Geneva Communiqué and relevant UNSC Resolutions to put an end to more than five years of conflict in Syria.
