	The Council of Europe's committee of social rights released on 11 April 2016 its conclusions on a complaint regarding abortion services in Italy. The committee considered that the women's rights were being violated in the country by the serious difficulties they faced in trying to obtain safe abortions due to many doctors refusing to carry out the procedure.
