The agriculture ministers of the European Union, including the Spanish Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Miguel Arias, participated in a debate about the Mid-Term Review of the Common Agricultural Policy at the Agricultural and Fisheries Council in Luxembourg on 14 October 2002. The discussions centred on dried fruit, rice and milk products, as well as rural development policies.
