Cyprus ‘on track’ for bailout money

EUObserver reported that a European Commission report of August 2013 concluding that Cyprus was on the right path to receive the next €1.5 billion tranche of its €10 billion bailout. The European Commission described the government's programme of economic reforms and spending cuts economic reform programme as being 'on track'.

The report was due to be approved by EU finance ministers in September 2013.
