Cross-border healthcare: Heart surgery for children in Slovenia

Two years without a clear healthcare strategy, and indecisiveness in the preceding years, have resulted in decisions that could have far-reaching negative consequences on the Slovenian healthcare system. The recent public discussion surrounding paediatric heart surgery is a case in point.
