Croatia to explore for oil, gas in Adriatic

Croatian economy minister Ivan Vrdoljak announced on 3 November 2014 that the country had received six bids in an international tender for oil and gas exploration areas in the Adriatic, with the best ones to be chosen by the end of the year.
