Consultation on the transposition of articles 5 and 7 of the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive 2000/53/EC. The End-of-Life Vehicles (Producer Responsibility) Regulations 2004

The End-of-Life Vehicles Directive came into force in October 2000. Member states were required to transpose it into national law by 21 April 2003. This consultation seeks views on a draft statutory instrument entitled 'The End-of-Life Vehicles (Producer Responsibility) Regulations 2004. The proposals in this consultation document are made by the UK Government and the devolved administrations for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. When approved, these Regulations will transpose into law certain provisions of Directive 2000/53/EC on end-of-life vehicles. The Unique Reference Number of this document is URN 04/542.
