Consultation on new European fisheries fund

The UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, on 13 August 2004, launched a consultation on a European Commission proposal for a European Fisheries Fund from 2007-2013. This fund would succeed the current Fisheries Structural Fund known as the Financial Instrument for Fisheries Guidance (FIFG) which covers 2000-2006. Deadline for responses: 5 November 2004.
