Complex rules make EU vulnerable to corruption, says report

A report published by Transparency International on the 24 April 2014 showed that complacency and complex rules made the EU's own institutions vulnerable to corruption and conflicts of interest.

The 250-page 'European Union Integrity System' is the first assessment looking at how ten EU institutions are dealing with internal corruption risks.
