Committee of the Regions and Economic and Social Committee documents online, January 2004

Pursuing the trend towards online access to documents, the Committee of the Regions has decided that from 2004 it will no longer produce paper versions of its publications. The documents will in future only be available from its website but will all be free of charge. Those who currently receive copies of its publications will be supplied with all outstanding documents for 2003 but thereafter the supply will cease. It is to be hoped that a rigorous archiving policy will be implemented but there is little evidence of this at http://www.cor.eu.int at present.
The European Economic and Social Committee have made a similar announcement.
