Commissioners show a leg

If you are excited by the prospect of seeing Commissioners wearing shorts, make a date for Sunday 6 October at the Commission Sports Centre in the Overijse countryside.

Last year's football tournament knockabout was such a success that the Commission Cabinets are doing it all again, raising money for the Youth Centre Project in Vitez.

Hosts this year are the Monika Wulf-Mathies Cabinet, heavily disguised as the 'Wolves', who will be taking on mixed five- or six-a-side teams which may or may not include the Commissioners themselves.

Last year saw Neil Kinnock and Erkki Liikanen put in world-class performances on the field, and we hope they will encourage their colleagues to join in this time. After all, it is the only time when
