Coalition ‘almost agreed’ on new €6bn austerity package

DutchNews.nl reported that the two coalition parties in the Dutch government, the right-wing Liberals (VVD) and social democrats (PvdA), had almost concluded their negotiations by late August 2014 on how to generate a further €6bn for the Dutch economy in 2014. The new programme was due to be announced in September 2013.
