Charlemagne. Of antibiotics and globalisation

Commentary feature discusses the linkages in EU Member States between calls for protectionism and the use of antibiotics. Mediterranean countries tend to much higher use of antibiotics tha Northern Member States and similarly have a greater fear of the impact of globalisation than their Northern neighbours.
Many experts discuss this in the context to levels of anxiety, and intolerance for uncertainty, as a key driver of antibiotic demand.
