Challenge to Basque party ban

The Basque regional government in Spain filed a challenge in the European Court of Human Rights on 10 September 2003 against an anti-terror law, introduced in 2002, used to ban the Basque separatist party Batasuna because of alleged connections with the armed separatist group, ETA.
