Date: 24/10/1996 Eurocrats, journos and the like are busy brushing up on their general knowledge again, because it's time once more for the European Trivia Quiz. The organisers at Arthur Andersen are hoping to increase the number of teams raising money for “Children in Need” from last year's 50 to 75. More disturbing is the decision to introduce an “Exhibitionist of the Year” award - just the sort of thing to bring out the worst in off-duty hacks. This is a direct result of one gregarious fool dressing up as Tarzan at last year's event, raising about 255 ecu in the process. Now Arthur Andersen is challenging all contestants, individually or as teams, to find the most novel way of raising even more money for the 1996 appeal. |
