Calls grow for pause in open-door policy

Access to the UK jobs market should be restricted for migrant workers from Romania and Bulgaria if the two join the European Union in 2007, according to some of Britain's biggest employer organisations such as the Confederation of British Industry, the British Chambers of Commerce and the British Hospitality Association.
