Bulgaria holds referendum on electronic voting

Bulgarians were expected to vote in a referendum on 25 October 2015 regarding the introduction of electronic voting.

This was seen by many as a way to encourage higher turnout, easier voting procedures for Bulgaria's diaspora and a way of tackling electoral fraud.
