Budgets MEPs back €5.1m aid for 2,132 redundant road haulage workers in France

The European Parliament's budgets committee approved €5,146,800 in EU aid on 23 May 2016 to help 2,132 road haulage and delivery workers, made redundant by road transport company MoryGlobal SAS across France, to find new jobs.

The proposal received the formal approval from the parliament's plenary on 26 May. It still needed the approval of the Council of the European Union before adoption.
