Brussels launches tourism PR offensive after terror lockdown

A new campaign was launched on 7 January 2015 to convince tourists that Brussels was a safe to visit after the city which hosts many of the European Union institutions had been paralysed by a lockdown in November and December 2015, following the terrorist attacks in Paris.

Media sources unveiled that terror threat had cost Belgium around 0.1% of GDP in 4th Quarter of 2015.
