Marta Andreasen, European Union whistleblower on accounting irregularities, faces new charges by the European Commission. Ms Andreasen has been waiting for more than a year to hear whether the Commission will formally discipline her, and in mid-November 2003 she was advised by Neil Kinnock, European Commissioner for Administrative Reform, that he wants her to answer fresh charges that she spoke at conferences without permission. Ms Andreasen has been suspended on full pay since August 2002.
