Brussels aspires to US-style litigation

The European Commission wants to bring its competition regime more into line with the system in the United States, with more private lawsuits brought against companies accused of breaching antitrust rules. The European Commission is analysing the findings of a study commissioned from law firm Ashurst, with a view to producing a Green Paper.
