The UK Labour Party launched its campaign for the country to stay in the European Union on the 1 December 2015, claiming the country's security depends on its continued membership.

The campaign, led by ex-Home Secretary Alan Johnson, was to be run separately to the cross-party, pro-EU campaign called 'Britain Stronger in Europe'.
