Philip Hammond is the United Kingdom Foreign Secretary (Foreign Minister). He writes that in its discussions with the EU the UK government was seeking a renegotiation of market regulation, ‘ever-closer union,’ subsidiarity and welfare.

UK prime minister David Cameron and chancellor George Osborne visited several European capitals in order to present their views on what an EU reform should look like. They also met with different EU leaders in the margins of several events and summits, in the lead up to an European Council taking place on 25-26 June 2015. You can find more on these meetings here and here.
