According to a study published on 23 June 2005 by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the UK outscores the rest of Europe in creating jobs and offers a better deal to workers than the United States. The Institute argues that the ten years of social reform has resulted in an 'Anglo-social' model which combines American employment flexibility with a Scandinavian-style commitment to social equality.
