Bonds lead the way in EU’s move eastward

Bond prices for the three candidate countries of most interest to investors (the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland) are so high there is almost no room for a setback. However, the political reality is quite different. Problems looming on the enlargement agenda include agricultural policy, regional aid and budget contributions.
