On 5th March 2008 Andy Klom, Head of the European Commission Office in Wales, visited the LIFE Active Blanket Bog project at Lake Vyrnwy. The five year project, part funded by the EU LIFE-Nature programme, began in August 2006 and will see large areas of blanket bog in Wales being restored. |
