Board divided over future of Yes group

Following the referendum on the European Constitution in France, 29 May 2005, the future of Britain in Europe, the group set up to lead a Yes campaign in a referendum on the constitution, will be discussed by board members in early June 2005, with senior figures divided over whether it should simply be wound up. The No campaign, though, is determined to fight on. It fears that Tony Blair might try to ratify Europe's constitutional treaty, or parts of it, through the back door.
