Bluefin tuna: Council agrees on update of the multiannual recovery plan

On the 18 July 2016, the Council of the European Union adopted new regulation to help to reverse the downward trend in Bluefin tuna stocks in the eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

This adoption confirms the first reading agreement which had been reached with the European Parliament in April 2016.
