POLLS in the UK and Denmark this week emphasized the growing public support for Eurosceptic parties fighting the European elections on 10-13 June.

Both the main Left and Right parties in the UK look set for poor results, with one-in-four of Labour and Tory voters thinking of switching to another party. The UK Independence Party, which advocates Britain's withdrawal from the Union, looks likely to benefit the most.

Anti-Labour protestors recently donned masks depicting Tony Blair, the UK premier, at the launch of his party's manifesto for the June polls.

Opinion polls in the United Kingdom and Denmark show there is growing public support for eurosceptic parties fighting the European Parliament Elections on 10-13 June 2004.
