This collection of legislation is intended to cater for legal practitioners who need to consult a wide range of EC legislative material and who do not have immediate access to EC legislative texts. Even for those who do have such access, purchase of this new compilation might well be of value as the editor has undertaken a major task in ensuring the texts as reproduced appear in updated and consolidated versions and include all the recitals, preambles and English language annexes. Another useful feature is that references are given to the provisions of UK national legislation that implement the EC Directives that are reproduced in the volume. Perhaps even more useful is a table giving the reverse: a list of UK statutory instruments and the related EC Directives.
