On 25 April 2017, the council of the European Union adopted a regulation aiming at making the existing system on the collection and management of data in the fisheries industry simpler and stronger. This came in the wake of the reformed Common Fisheries Policy, or CFP. The regulation will enter into force on the twentieth day following the publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. |
