Belgium wants to boost border checks

In response to terrorist threats Belgium planned proposals in 2016 to collect and evaluate data on passengers on all international trains, buses and ships. It was also in talks with neighbours France, Germany, and the Netherlands. The goal of the Belgian government was the EU-wide collection of such data.
