Baron Lamfalussy warns on cross-border trades

Baron Alexandre Lamfalussy, the driving force behind the acceleration of reform of Europe's securities markets, has warned that the European Commission may have to intervene if exchanges and other bodies do not find ways to make it cheaper and easier to clear and settle cross-border trades.
