Barely 1 in 5 EU expats eligible to vote in Belgian local elections

Belgium authorities announced that fewer than 1 in 5 of expatriates from the European Union countries living in Belgium registered to vote in the local elections which are to be held on 14 October 2012.

Flandernews.be reported that the official figures, provided by the Home Office, state that only 18.48% of European expatriates registered to vote in October's elections.
