Banker attacks piecemeal oversight

Interview with Jacques de Larosière, the former Banque de France governor, and chairman of the High-level group on financial supervision in the EU which reported in February 2009. In the interview he said that the current financial and economic crisis could have been prevented by more effectively monitoring the financial system as a whole rather than piecemeal oversight.
