Balance of current transactions of candidate countries. Annual data 1995-1998

In spite of the surpluses recorded by most of the candidate countries in the accounts of services and current transfers, their current balances tended to be in deficit between 1995 and 1998. The composition of services showed a strong emphasis on exports of travel services and imports of 'other services'.
