The Austrian Position on the Specific Programmes is a further development of the Austrian position paper on the 6th RTD Framework Programme (decree of the Council of Ministers of 15 June 2001). 14 inter-ministerial working groups were set up in order to prepare the Austrian position. The position paper will serve as the basis for further negotiations in the Council of the European Union and with the European Parliament.
