Summary: The “Art in an Immigration Society” study explores the role of the arts for living in diversity. Based on 12 case studies, the study highlights the various ways in which different art forms address cultural diversity, immigration and integration. The case studies range from projects involving opera and chamber music to dance, film, blogs and art installations in public spaces. Drawing on its findings, the study offers recommended actions to be taken in cultural policy to promote living together in diversity in an immigration society. |
