One good thing about being a Euro-person is that you get your weekends off.

This explains the grumbles of discontent that have been heard from within the ranks at the idea that some representatives will have to be present this Saturday (11 May) to field questions from the public during 'Open Door Day' at the Breydel.

Things would not be so bad, Entre Nous is told, if the Commissioners themselves were setting a good example by leading from the front. But at the time of writing, none had volunteered to play host to the citizens of Europe on a day off.
