Article reports that the European Commission have told British Airways, American Airlines and Iberia that they could be forced to give up valuable take-off and landing slots if they want their long-planned transatlantic tie-up to go ahead. According to documents seen by the FT, the European Commission says that the proposed agreement the three airlines signed in 2008 is 'likely to result in appreciable competitive harm' on seven Europe/US routes. |
