Anti-government march to commemorate 4 June anniversary

In Warsaw, the Committee for the Defence of Democracy (KOD) held a march on the 4 June 2016 commemorating the anniversary of Poland's first partially free elections in 1989 after decades of communist rule. Events took place also in twenty other Polish cities.

The KOD-organised events marked another in a series of protests against the changes carried out by Poland's conservative government in 2015 and 2016.
