Andrus Ansip, the Estonian Commissioner-designate for Digital Internal Market, had his confirmation hearing in the European Parliament on 6 October 2014.

During the interview, Mr Ansip hoped to restore Europe’s place as a global leader in the digital economy, creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs while giving the highest priority to data protection.
