The Economist published an article in April 2017 on the appetite for the creation of a Greater Albania. While Albanian nationalists fed an idea of an ethnic territory - embracing not only Kosovo but also other regions from neighbouring countries comprising a strong Albanian communities - Kosovans seemed not to be interested in such a move, mainly because they had managed to create an identity of their own which ran in parallel with their Albanian identity. |
